Be Prepared

One of the biggest things I've learned since becoming a mother is disaster preparedness. With a little one, I must be prepared for possible explosions. On Sunday, just after sacrament meeting, Sophie pooped, and it leaked out her diaper all over my dress! (And I mean all over.) Without drawing attention to ourselves, Justin and I began cleaning it up, when she exploded yet again. At this point, I just wrapped her in her blanket, held her in front of me, and walked home. After changing both of us, I returned to help Justin teach our primary lesson. (At least we had an extra blanket in the diaper bag in that emergency!) Who knew something this cute could make such a mess?
