Sand Hollow

My mom and dad got a new boat, and I know what some of you are thinking; doesn't your dad already have like 4 boats?  Yes he does, but he has plans to get rid of a few of them.  Anyway, they invited us out to take it for a little spin.

Here's Sophie all geared up for the adventure.
This is the face we all made when the boat wouldn't work...

My mom had to head back up to get the boat trailer.
 Waiting...

Scott and DeeAnn were down, so they showed up too.

Finally, after taking the boat back out of the water and looking at it, he was able to get it fixed, and then we got our ride in.  Sophie wasn't sure about the high speeds, and Tucker tried to jump in.

Justin and Nathan decided to ride in the cabin.
My dad's friend called to ask if he was going to take the boat out.  Well...

Gradually all the kids joined the boys.

After a while Justin said he'd had enough of the cabin, so we switched.  I soon found out why he didn't want to be in there anymore when I about lost my lunch!

For Your Random Enjoyment...

September was such a fun and crazy month for us!  We're just loving life, and we especially love our little girls.

Here are the deleted scenes of September.  Okay, so more like randomness of September, but anyway...

I gave the girls a bath, put Katie in her crib, and then I couldn't find Sophie.  I walked in to find her in Katie's crib.  She said Katie was lonely.
Sophie loves to eat a spoonful of peanut butter for a snack.  Justin got her on this kick, and without fail, Sophie chases me down with the peanut butter after lunch.
She's keeping dad up to date on all the latest news.  Justin looks pretty shocked.
 Katie loves her walker.
I caught Sophie putting on my lipstick.
 My sweet bug!

Family movie night on the living room floor.
She was sad because I left to get the camera.  Once she noticed I was back, she was a lot happier.

Katie loves to eat with us.

She doesn't love the food, but the idea is great.

I had to laugh when she was sitting in her swing, and she wouldn't put her arms down.

I couldn't find Sophie one day.  I was frantically searching, contemplating calling the police when I happened to hear her in the laundry room...

 Pretty Sophie...
 She's quite a ham really.

I woke up one Saturday morning to find Sophie dressed like this.  Justin got clothes out of Katie's drawer thinking they were Sophie's.  I asked him why he though the clothes were so incredibly small, and he said he just figured she'd gone through a growth spurt.

We love to feed the ducks at the park.

Florida!

Justin earned another diamond club trip from work.  This time, he earned it in his new position as a sales supervisor.  I love that he is so incredible at his job because free trips every six months to amazing locations is something I can definitely handle.  We are so grateful that Justin has a job during this difficult time, and that Allconnect still rewards employees.  We never thought we'd be able to take trips like this until our kids were grown and gone.  We'll definitely enjoy it until Justin's time at Allconnect is done.

The beach in front of our hotel.  This is where we spent the majority of our time.

We went into town to check out the local scene.
It's a pirate ship! That weird looking finger is supposed to be my hook.

A local suggested we check out Gators restaurant, and it was awesome!  Justin and I still talk about gator nuggets.
The people behind me are all looking at a woman who, just then, passed out cold on the floor.  Apparently 3 wine coolers, no water, and sitting out on the sun deck is a bad combination.  Who would've thunk?

Us on the beach.

We watched a storm roll in...

Our incredible hotel.

I love my husband because he loves to pull GQ poses just for fun...

While searching for shells, we found many hermit crabs which totally freaked me out.

At a dinner our first night.
We found sand dollars on a sand bar.  They look a little creepy and prehistoric.

Justin's award ceremony.

The St George and Atlanta winners.
Justin had 4 people from his team win, 2 of them won the double diamond (Felicia couldn't make it).  That means 6 of the 20 spots were filled by Justin's team mates.  What can I say?  I think my husband's pretty awesome!
We are excited for our next trip in March which will be a 4 day cruise to Cozumel, Mexico!
