Panguitch

Panguitch was fantastic this year. We usually camp in the Panguitch Lake Campground, but this year we roughed it in the woods to accomodate our growing brewd. It ended up being one of my favorite years of all time!

Katie helping us get things set up...

Sweet little Emmabelle hanging out in Sophie's chair.
The tradition of bathing kids in a bin continues.

Sophie and Tucker loved their daily baths outside.

Jen and Will with the kiddos...

Katie loves her Uncle Will!

Sophie and Tucker on the boat.

Katie wasn't a huge fan of the life jacket, but she was pretty good nonetheless.
My mom caught a fish right away, of course...

Sophie and Tucker loved playing on the boat.

I even caught a fish (which doesn't usually happen), and look he's a whopper! Okay, okay so I threw him back, but I was definitely stoked!

My daddy...

Tucker was driving his little cars up and down the boat. I'm pretty sure there are still cars hidden in some of the pockets on board.

Gotta love the camping grunge look.

And I caught a second fish!!! He was a keeper!

My baby brother caught a few too...

Camping definitely took a lot out of Sophie. It seems like every time we looked in the back seat, we saw this...

Mommy and Katie

And we definitely made our way over the the Paguitch 24th of July Parade.

Jen and Will

Tucker was so sweet; he shared his candy with Sophie.

Tucker and Sophie spent most their time getting dirty...

Emmabelle trying to get her daddy's shake. She was a pretty determined little thing. I think she got frustrated when Wade was not helping her...

Jen and Will sported some...interesting outfits.

I loved when Sophie and Tucker actually wanted to be contained.... It didn't last long...

I love Tucker's face in this picture!

We can't wait for next year!

Fiesta Fun and Splash Pad Fun

The day after the 4th Justin and I decided to take his Aunt Yvonne and Cousin Chrissy to Fiesta Fun. We had an absolute blast.

Justin and Yvonne playing ski ball.

Justin and Chrissy decided to have a race on the go-carts.

The next day we took the girls to the splash pad. This was Katie's first splash pad experience. She was 1 day over 2 months here.

She wasn't so sure about her feet getting wet...

Sophie is always all about the splash pad...

The shutter didn't quite open on this shot, but I think it's kind of cool...

The tired look on my face comes from the exhaustion of 2 kids. Luckily, Katie started sleeping through the night at 2 weeks. Yeah! (I was really worried about having another kid when Sophie didn't sleep through the night until 10 months.)

Justin's an absolutely amazing father.

Fourth of July

The fourth of July is one of my very favorite holidays. I love the heat, fireworks, and patriotism. So, for me, a big party is a necessity. This year we celebrated with Justin's family. We played water kickball, had shish kabobs, and had a fantastic time.

The prep work...

I had to make some July 4th skirts for the girls. Yeah, I am that crazy...

Katie wasn't as thrilled as I was...

Sophie, however, loved it!

Justin's mom pretended to have a cape, and Sophie loved chasing her...

The kickball game. Yes, we do have our bases backwards. We didn't want to smash our heads into cinderblock.

Anna.

Dan, Brandon, and Chrissy. Sophie kept switching teams, and she wanted to run bases every time.

And I had to make my traditional flag cake. Yummy!!!

After a long day, everyone was tuckered out...

Swimming Fun!

Our townhome complex has a swimming pool, and we were frequent visitors this summer. Luckily, only home owners can have keys, and since most people around us rent, we usually have the pool all to ourselves.

We were watching Tucker, so he joined in the fun. He also came over on several occasions with Megs to swim. We had to put Sophie's pink water wings on him because he kept jumping in when our backs were turned.

He also wanted us to dunk him under. By the end of the summer, Tucker was quite the little swimmer.

I'm sure there will be more swimming pictures to come.
